Suggested pairings: Lively Barbera is the ideal dry red with cold cuts appetizers, as those from Piacenza such as salami, coppa and pancetta, with Grana Padano and other seasoned cheeses. This wine also goes perfectly with traditional Piacenza first courses and second courses of white and red meats.
